When you install Kovet SCM, we access your Shopify store's products, inventory levels, orders, and supplier information through the Shopify API — only the data the app needs to manage purchase orders, inventory, and supplier risk.
Your store data is used solely to provide the app's features: inventory tracking, reorder recommendations, purchase orders, supplier risk scoring, and AI briefings. We never sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing.
AI features run on a private model hosted on our own infrastructure by default. In that mode your store data is never sent to third-party AI providers. If you choose to connect your own OpenAI or Anthropic API key, the data needed for the features you use is processed by that provider under your own account, at your direction. Your store data is never used to train models.
Uninstalling the app automatically deletes all of your store's data from our systems, and we receive and act on Shopify’s mandatory privacy webhooks (customer data request, customer redaction, and shop redaction). You may also request deletion at any time by emailing support@kovet.ai.
For your store data, you are the controller and Kovet is your processor: our Data Processing Addendum (Article 28 terms, including Standard Contractual Clauses for international transfers) is available on request. People whose data is in your store may ask to access, correct, erase, restrict, or port it, or object to its processing — contact us and we will support the request, normally within one month.
